VI-th Cross-border Meeting in Chişinău (Kishinev), Republic of Moldova, on June 21-23 of 2012
The 10 Regional Professional Accountancy Bodies (PAB) are about to gather for the 6 th time in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova in June 21-23, 2012. The event so called “Cross-border meeting” with the name: The role and responsibilities of professional associations in the regulation of accounting profession.
ACAP Moldova is a hosting organization of this international event.
The attendees of VI-th cross-border meeting are 11 IFAC member bodies from 9 countries, Moldovan government representatives, ACAP members.
Those 9 countries and 11 Bodies are: Romania (both bodies CECCAR & CAFR), Hungary (MKVK), Russia(IPBR), Turkey (TURMOB), Ukraine (UFPAA), Poland (KIBR).
Among the speakers are IFAC representative (Szymon Radziszewicz), the president of FIDEF (Michel De Wolf), from The World Bank (Henri Fortin, Andrei Busuioc), and from ACAP’s twinning partner Royal NIVRA from the Netherlands (Paul Hurks), as well as from Belgium Institute IBR- IRE (Paul van Geyt).
As Moldovan government representatives, we are inviting all Regulators of accounting & auditing profession & stakeholders such as Ministry of finance, State Tax Service, National Bank of Moldova, National Committee on Financial Market, Bureau of statistics, etc.
ACAP Board & Committees members are invited also.
The main topic for discussion during “Cross-border meeting” in 2012 is: "The role and responsibilities of professional associations in the regulation of accounting profession". This topic is very actual & important in the context of challenges the accounting profession in Moldova is facing.
The 2012 meeting is hosted by ACAP Moldova and scheduled for 3 days of June 21-23. The draft technical & social program would be posted soon for information.
