ACAP and PUM to jointly train staff in the accountancy industry

Chisinau, 3 March 2011 - The Association of Professional Accountants and Auditors of the Republic of Moldova (ACAP) and PUM Netherlands senior experts have signed a partnership today.
The two parties agreed to jointly facilitate training and education to employees in the accountancy industry for a period of three years.
Between 2011 and 2013 the two parties will formalise contacts with the industry and public oversight into an advisory board.
The board, which is called Education & Training in Accountancy Quality Control & Quality Assurance in RM, will meet on a regular basis. It will recommend end terms and training requirements for the sector as well as evaluate programmes and curricula. It will also establish a training facility for skills training in the quality control & quality assurance.
This includes administrative and financial management aspects of the accountancy practice.
The partnership agreement was signed today by the CEO of ACAP, Mrs Marina Selaru, and a senior expert of PUM, Mr Paul Hurks RA. The partnership project is partly funded by the Dutch government through the VEHICLE-programme executed by PUM Netherlands senior experts.
