 Mrs. Elena Panainte, President of ACAP Moldova, and Mrs. Natalia Zlatina, Executive Director, engaged in a constructive and forward-looking dialogue with Mrs. Daniela Ștefănuț, General Secretary of CAFR, along with Mrs. Adriana Spiridon, Head Of Admission, Professional Development and Trainees at CAFR and Mrs. Anca Țiurea, Head of Marketing, Communication and International Relations CAFR, esteemed representatives of the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania.

The meeting focused on several critical issues shaping the future of the audit profession:

• The evolving role of auditors in the implementation and assurance of ESG reporting;
• The growing importance of integrating cybersecurity risks into financial audit engagements, in line with ISA 315 and broader digital risk frameworks;
• The practical implementation of robust quality management systems, particularly under the enhanced requirements of ISQM 1.

We highly value this open and insightful exchange of perspectives. Cross-border collaboration between professional bodies such as ACAP and CAFR is key to aligning standards, elevating audit quality, and building public trust in a fast-evolving business environment.
